In July 2024, Africa Zero-Waste Hub hosted zero waste champions from seven countries in Durban, South Africa! The Composting for our Future programme brought together community-based organisations and environmental justice activists from eight different countries, with municipal officials in Durban to explore how we can move towards zero waste structures and practices in cities.
Movement building gatherings are generous spaces for sharing, learning and demonstrating solutions so that we can accelerate and support the changes we need across many different local contexts! Together we are stronger!
