A group of Durban residents in South Africa connected with a group of local waste-pickers to learn how to support the important climate justice work waste-pickers do to keep waste out of landfills and reduce harmful Green House Gases. This project is part of a broader Zero-Waste project working in the markets of Warwick with informal workers to create viable solutions to the circular economy. The partners on this project are groundWork, the Urban Futures Centre at the Durban University of Technology and Asiye eTafuleni.
